Santee Sioux Nation Society of Care

The Program will expand culturally based behavioral health and prevention services to historically neglected and underserved rural/frontier, reservation, and urban Native Americans throughout Nebraska using evidence-based practices and traditional approaches to promote healing and reduce risk factors. The Program will utilize culturally-centered trauma-trained 
methodology to decrease the incidence of substance abuse and suicide, enhance a decolonized approach to mental health service delivery, and grow behavioral health workforce development efforts.
