Bronwyn Bahr is a nonprofit leader with experience spanning philanthropy, government affairs, organizational strategy, and board governance. Throughout her career, she has specialized in leading complex initiatives and advancing key operational goals for mission-driven organizations.
As Grants Administrator at Clarkson Institute, Bronwyn oversees grant lifecycle administration while building collaborative relationships with applicants and funding partners. In this role, she identifies prospective grantees, conducts site visits, and provides support through reporting and closeout, ensuring Clarkson’s philanthropic resources authentically align with community priorities and drive lasting social impact. Prior to joining Clarkson Institute, she managed strategic projects and public policy initiatives for Omaha Performing Arts, following earlier work providing executive administration and board governance for the Iowa West Foundation.
Beyond her professional roles, Bronwyn is active in civic and community leadership. She currently serves as a Board Trustee and Co-Regional/Affiliate Challenge Master with Destination Imagination, a board member of Nebraskans for the Arts, and Treasurer of the Nebraska Arts Action Fund. She is a graduate of Leadership Council Bluffs and the Grantee Advocacy Training Series hosted by the Lozier Foundation, the Weitz Foundation, and the Institute for Public Leadership.
She holds a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from New York University.
