Dr. Rebecca Leval, MD, MPH, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Chicago and a Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Certificate from Georgetown University. She earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Trinity School of Medicine and a Master of Public Health degree from The George Washington University. Dr. Leval completed her residency at Creighton University/University of Nebraska Medical Center where she served as Chief Resident. She completed her fellowship in Perinatal and Reproductive Psychiatry at the MGH Center for Women’s Mental Health and is now a staff psychiatrist.

In addition to her work within the MGH Center for Women’s Mental Health, Dr. Leval also serves as an attending psychiatrist in Massachusetts General Hospital’s Acute Psychiatry Services.
