Torri Criger is President and General Counsel at Clarkson Institute. She also serves as President of Paramount Group, an independent provider association.
In this role, Torri oversees the daily operations of the two organizations, including human resources and legal, and is responsible for advising the CEO on all major policy, management, board, and regulatory issues. She works closely with the CEO, providing support and advice on board relations and educational opportunities related to board development.
Torri brings a rich legal background to her role. In her most recent prior position, Torri was a partner at Kutak Rock. Previous to that, she held attorney roles at Nebraska Medicine; SilverStone Group, where she specialized in risk management and regulatory affairs; and Husch Blackwell, where she concentrated her practice in health law, primarily Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, Stark and anti-kickback analysis, state and federal licensure/certification of healthcare facilities, and corporate transactions, as well as HIPAA compliance and other regulatory matters.
Torri volunteers her expertise by serving on the boards of Clarkson College, Lauritzen Gardens, and Elkhorn Public School Foundation as Secretary.
Torri earned a Juris Doctorate with distinction and a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
