Bridges to Mental Health Consultation Line
A consultation line for providers navigating behavioral health questions
Providers are often asked to assess, advise, and act — without always having a clear behavioral health pathway or the confidence to take the necessary next step.
Via a navigator, this consultation line connects providers to a psychiatrist as well as community resources — to support decision-making, reduce delays in care, and help patients in their care.
The educational consult offers providers a confidential space to talk through concerns, pressure-test decisions, and explore next steps with psychiatrists trained in both adult and pediatric psychiatry.

Request a consultation
Bridges to Mental Health Navigators provide linkage to psychiatrists (within 30 minutes or at the requested callback time) and additional resources in your community.
There are two ways to request a consultation.
Phone
- Call: 1-402-868-0802
- Available: Monday-Fridays, 9am-5pm CST (closed for major holidays)
- If a call is received after hours, you may leave a voicemail and the navigator will return the call on the next business day. If you leave a voicemail, DO NOT include confidential information or patient-protected health information (PHI).

Psychiatrist team
Calls to the consultation line are supported by board-certified psychiatrists trained in both adult and pediatric psychiatry (and one psychiatrist also trained in perinatal), who understand the realities of frontline decision-making.
They help providers:
- Think through behavioral health concerns in context
- Identify appropriate levels of care
- Navigate medication selection, dosing, and titration
- Understand referral and escalation options
- Balance clinical insight with practical constraints
This service is educational and consultative and does not replace direct evaluation or ongoing care.
