Omaha, Neb.

The funded project aims to expand the use of 3D printing in clinical settings by recruiting and training physician champions who integrate patient-specific 3D models into surgical planning and medical education. The project seeks to increase the number of physician champions from 6 to 25 over three years, improve patient comprehension and surgical outcomes, and encourage hospitals to integrate 3D printing into their budgets for long-term sustainability.
